Moveable Feast serves people who live at the intersection of serious chronic illness and food insecurity. We provide healthy, home-delivered meals with individualized nutrition counseling, at no cost, to improve the health and quality of life of those we serve. We know that when a client is food insecure and has a nutrition-sensitive illness, health costs are inevitable. Our services get people the right food at the right time, delivered right to their door. We mobilize a compassionate community of volunteers and supporters to feed people, fight disease, and foster hope. We deliver meals to clients and their families in Baltimore City, the five surrounding counties and the entire Eastern Shore.
In 2020 we delivered over 499,741 meals to 2,006 clients. On top of providing meals and nutritional counseling, we offer a transportation service for our clients to attend their medical appointments.
Moveable Feast relies heavily on community support to continue its mission. Each year over 4,000 individuals volunteer their time preparing meals in the kitchen, accompanying dietitians on home visits, delivering meals to the clients, assisting with our large fundraising events, and helping in other ways.
Thank you so much for choosing to help Moveable Feast continue to Feed People, Fight Disease, and Foster Hope by participating in our annual Dining Out For Life Fundraiser!
