Virtual Trivia Night with Walsh Trivia

A Fundraiser for Moveable Feast!

Thursday, August 26th, 6pm-7pm, Tickets $12-$10.

Stephen Walsh is a Baltimore trivia host who has taken his trivia nights online! In addition to his regular games, he hosts virtual trivia to benefit local organizations as well as international games for staff and employees at US Embassies and Consulates around the world. Here is what you need to know to play:

REGISTERING

• Captains: Register by clicking the "Sign Up" button. If you are starting a team or are a team of one, select the "Team Captain" option. Registration fee for captains is $12.
• Teammates: If you are joining an existing team, select the "Teammate" option and include the team you are joining. Only Team Captain will be able to submit answers. Each team can have up to 10 people. Registration fee for teammates is $10.

RECRUITING YOUR TEAM

Because this is virtual, anyone can join from anywhere! The more participants, the more funds raised for Moveable Feast!

HOW IT WORKS

Questions are asked in sets of 3, and then teams are given 3 minutes to discuss possible answers. Use the platform that is easiest for your team to communicate; large teams playing across multiple cities or states have recommended using an app called Discord, but there has also been success with conference calls, FaceTime, Skype, Google hangout, group texts, and other free services. The Team Captain should submit the answers for the team.

LOGGING IN TO PLAY

• 30 minutes before your scheduled game, the host will send an email to all participants with the zoom link.
• Team Captains: You will receive a link to the Google Form where you will submit the team's answers for each question.
