20 years of Ride for the Feast has seen teams, friendships, and connection to our mission grow stronger through many miles, sweat and smiles. When RFTF rider, Cara, came in for a volunteer shift in our kitchen last week, she reminded us of why she's been cycling in this event for 12 years. "Illness isn't going anywhere," Cara said simply, "And, accessing healthy food shouldn't be a concern for those living with serious illness." Anyone who has participated in Ride for the Feast will tell you how extraordinary the experience is. For many years, riders would travel from the Eastern Shore to Baltimore City over two days. Last year was the first year riders remained on the Eastern Shore for a one-day event, but the impact and connection between the two regions hasn't been lost. |
