Farewell from Events Manager

Ride for the Feast Folks –

It has been an honor to work for Moveable Feast and manage Ride for the Feast for the past three years. I have enjoyed getting to know many of the riders, volunteers, and supporters and witnessing your dedication to this event and the mission of the organization. 

My heart is heavy as I inform you that I’ll soon be leaving Moveable Feast and moving back to my hometown in West Virginia. The pandemic has taken its toll on us all, and I've realized how much I need my family in my daily life. My last day working at Moveable Feast will be Friday, February 5th. 

Please know that my departure will not affect plans for this year’s Ride for the Feast. After my departure on February 5th, please direct any participant related questions to Volunteer Manager Angie Kelley. The Development team, led by Samantha Flottemesch, will be working hard to ensure a smooth transition.

Everyone has been absolutely amazing during my time at Moveable Feast, and I will miss you all and this magnificent event.

Fees Increase February 1st!

If you haven't yet registered for this year's Ride for the Feast, you have just a few more days before the registration fees increase. 

The current cost to register for the May 1 Ride is $50 for all riders. On February 1st, the fee will increase to $65. 

Staying Overnight in Easton

Although Ride for the Feast is a 1-day event this year, we have reserved room blocks at several Easton hotels for those wanting to stay overnight before or after the event. 

Book your reservation before April 1 to ensure you receive the room block rates.

Can't Ride in May?

If you're unable to ride this year, you can still be part of the event through Move for the Feast. This is a new virtual option and is open to anyone. Set a mileage goal to run, ride, or walk between April 1st and May 2nd and fundraise for Moveable Feast.

Unicorns Deliver on Valentine's Day

The Rebels with a Cause team are raising funds as Unicorns! Several local businesses have joined forces with the #UnicornswithaCause fundraising efforts. A portion of proceeds from sales of special Valentine's Day orders and deliveries will be donated to the team's fundraising page. There are also several items that can be purchased at the Waverly Farmers Market. Thanks to Charlottetown Farm, Flowers & Fancies, Gertrude's, and Pahl's Farm for your support!
